We had a lot more animals, when we came to live here in 1988
We had 14 cat's and 5 dogs, most of them where homeless..
At that time I was working with animals, searching new homes
After years and years working, sorrow and tears, seeiing all that misery
I decided to quit and start another job
....singing and become a fulltime artist....
However, I decided also to keep the animals I had
and to take care of them till the very end
From those days I've got just one cat left
Billetje, she came to me, 15 years ago
very skinny and very very hungry
....more dead than alive....
